Long Island Adventures is a small, actually a very small, local business.

Hi there and thanks for visiting this website. My name is Bill and I am Long Island Adventures. I'm the person who makes everything happen at L.I.A. me

As a private contractor I work with local municipalities, Libraries, Public, and Parochial Schools, and other organizations providing a host of programs, all with nature as the theme.

I am a licensed N.Y.S. Guide and N.W.T., past licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator, Certified Kayak Instructor, Beekeeper, Sugarer, Master Gardener and all around nature enthusiast. I've been acquainting the public with the natural world, for many years, from Upstate to Manhattan and east to South Hampton on the Island. We offer summer camps, school programs, school recess programs and Saturday Discovery programs.

We've a variety of program topics from Bees and Wasps (we bring live bees in an observation hive); Budding and Grafting (hands on); Plant Propagation, All About Seeds and Seed Saving; Water on L.I. (from Cloud to Faucet); Preserving Flora, methods of drying; Pond/River Study, focusing on macroinvertebrates and contributing factors for their existence or demise; Carnivorous plants and other programs. Follow the links below to find out more about us or view my resume´.
