		At L.I.A. we introduce the public to the slowly disappearing, natural world of Long Island in a manner which is safe to the individual and kind to the environment.
		We also provide a home for honeybees, tap maple trees, grow things and observe nature.
		In the Town of Islip we operate Kayak Summer Camps, Discovery Camps during school recess, after school programs and a variety of science and nature programs to schools, libraries, and speaker engagements to garden clubs and other organizations.
		We also give kayak instructions in both pool and natural environments ensuring safe, enjoyable experiences on the water, and we organize, and lead kayak, and hiking tours across Long Island.
